Mid-Year Mayhem

I kept waking up during my sleep last night thinking about my wristband. It's not the typical type that loosens and wears away after a few washes, and I have it with me since many, many years back. It's become a part of my daily wardrobe and an irreplaceable part of my life.

You can imagine the sadness I felt when I discovered that it wasn't on my office workdesk. I double-checked everywhere, but to no avail. I searched the office toilet - it wasn't there. Losing hopes, I went to the pantry and asked one of the helpers if she was able to locate a black piece of cloth around a finger's length. She pointed to the ground near the main entrance, saying that it had been there since yesterday and it was a good thing she didn't sweep the floor yet.

I stood there speechless. Never did I expect to be able to retrieve it once again. I thanked her countless times. God is good!

May has been very busy and I haven't gotten a chance to update dA except submitting Alphario Chapter 4. So with this little spare time before I go to bed, allow me to share a few life updates...

Speaking of Alphario Chapter 4, it was a nightmare. It was supposed to be longer. Much longer. But we decided to move it to Chapter 5 because Chapter 4 was giving us too much trouble and that there were already enough stuffs to make it into a chapter. If you haven't read it yet, here you go:

Alphario - Chapter 4"Are you sure we're going in the right direction? We've been walking for like... hours."
"Listen, kid. You're the one asking for help here." Eurid sternly pointed. "If you got a problem with that, feel free to find your way around here."
Dennis let out a deep sigh. He wasn't tired from walking: he was tired of hearing his tiny companion ramble about the same things over and over. Trying to beat the boredom, he started taking photos of the surrounding landscape. "Senjo's route was much shorter than this," he grumbled.
"Senjo? That jerk I helped you save earlier?" Eurid frowned, breaking off from his topic.
Snap! Dennis took a picture of a peculiar flower. "You know each other?" He replied while looking for his next subject.
"You gotta be kidding! Like hell I'll be related to that brat!"
"He seemed to know a lot about this place." Dennis shrugged, oblivious to Eurid's temper.
"Oh yeah?" Eurid sounded sarcastic. "So tell me everything you know about him."

This year's grand dance happened on June 1, and unlike the previous years, I only participated in 2 dances this time (I was absent for 2 straight weeks). My choreography pickup skills improved dramatically while I felt that I could have done much better in bboy. My left wrist had been aching for the past 2 months, so I wasn't able to do those powermoves I planned to do this year... again. It's better now.



Right now, I'm working on the inkjinks and Alphario website revamps as well as preparing our newest release - Alphario Omake 1 - for the upcoming big convention this coming July 7! There'll be lots of surprises, so be sure to attend if you're in the Philippines!



Today, I lost my wristband. I hope I find it tomorrow at work. If not...
